About the role

  • As IT Delivery lead, you will be driving multiple major projects across multiple stakeholders. This involves forming an execution plan and the supporting processes, identifying and securing commitment from dependency teams, driving consensus on the technical approach, setting timelines and leading cross-functional team from project planning through execution. This role requires you to engage with key business stakeholders and provide updates to the senior leadership team.
  • The IT Delivery Lead serves as a subject matter expert in delivering audit and regulatory remediation and automation projects with the day-to-day responsibility for leading remediation and automation efforts related to AMS (Application Management Services) applications while ensuring desired outcomes are delivered within cost, timeframe, and scope commitments. 

Purpose

  • This role is critical to improving Corebridge risk posture and reducing risk exposure by driving tactical and strategical solutions to closure in a comprehensive and timely manner.

The Business Systems Analyst is expected to perform the following duties:

  • Responsible for organizing and leading multiple complex audit and regulatory remediation and automation projects related to AMS (Application Management Services) applications. The work includes remediation of audit and regulatory related inefficiencies as well as automation to streamline processes and increase productivity.
  • Partner with Corebridge IT Audit & Regulatory Factory, IAM (Identity Access Management), TRC (Technology Risk & Control), internal and external auditors, regulatory teams, and application teams to prioritize audit and regulatory remediation and automation projects based on agreed upon target dates as well as overall risk exposure.
  • Analyse audit and regulatory project demand to determine scope and timeframe, if not predetermined, as well as funding requirements, resource availability and allocation. Develop detailed project plans and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required activities and tasks. Identify and manage interdependencies and track progress.  
  • Coordinate multiple cross functional infrastructure and application teams and external providers and promote collaboration.
  • Provide leadership and direction to team members throughout the project life cycle, ensuring deliverables are met per cost, schedule, and scope commitments, proactively handling escalations as necessary to ensure project goals are accomplished and are in line with audit and regulatory objectives. Monitor and coordinate dependencies across the projects and resolve conflicts. Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
  • Proactively assess risks and issues, providing leadership to determine appropriate mitigation plans, escalating as necessary and then executing and following up on these. Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.           
  • Continuously benchmark team performance to identify improvements and achieve higher capability maturity in project and portfolio management. Measure team performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Provide program management oversight to IT Audit & Regulatory Factory as part of ongoing BAU operations including remediation coordination, ongoing responsibility for maintenance of the audit and regulatory remediation plan, management of vendor SLAs and risk/issue management.
  • Maintain the master audit and regulatory project data and partner with the IT Audit and Regulatory Factory Power BI team to measure and report on performance.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • BA/BS or equivalent years of experience
  • 5+ Years of technical Project Management experience in matrix organizations.
  • 3+ years supervisory experience overseeing large scale, high exposure projects.
  • Experience managing audit and regulatory project plans a plus.
  • Software currency, software engineering and infrastructure knowledge (including ITIL, SDLC, etc.)
  • Experience managing vendors/defining SLAs and KPIs
