Job Summary:
Primarily, supports investigators and research staff by designing, implementing, and overseeing data management systems and processes for research projects, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security throughout the research lifecycle. Key responsibilities include developing data collection systems, extracting data, validating data, establishing data standards, collaborating with researchers and cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Additionally, participates in the design, development and on-going production support of the department's own information systems which may integrate throughout the hospital enterprise to provide business solutions to customers which will improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the departments service delivery. This position reports to a Director in most areas.

Qualifications
- Three to five years relevant information systems experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of information systems knowledge related to the field. Strong interpersonal skills and customer orientation required.
- May require specific technical/clinical/business degree.
- Strong PC and analytical skills essential.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Time management and organizational skills.
