Major Responsibilities
Counsels students in person, by phone and emails regarding their financial aid.
Verifies financial aid files.
Packages and awards financial aid. Follows up on payments to students.
Conduct financial aid outreach to current Ivy Tech students and prospective Ivy Tech students in the local community.
Administer and fully utilize federal campus-based aid programs, including the Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant and the Federal Work-Study Program.
This is not to be construed as an exhaustive list. Other duties associated with this role may be assigned. All responsibilities will be conducted within the parameters of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), other applicable regulatory requirements and professional standards.
Hiring Range:
$35,000-45,000 annually based on experience
Working Hours:
Typical business work hours, may be adjusted during peak times.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree, in a business discipline or public administration.
The ability to work well with others and maintain absolute confidentiality is essential.
Position requires a sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of college students and employees.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience administering student financial aid.
