Associate Requirement Engineer - Duesseldorf, Germany

The Role

 

As Requirement Engineer for automotive networks, your responsibilities would include analysis of market requirements and transform them into product requirements for our leading-edge automotive products. This involves working on technologies such as CAN bus, LIN bus, Ethernet, and wireless protocols. Collaborating with global cross-functional teams, you'd contribute to the development of in-car connectivity, infotainment systems, telematics, high performance central compute systems and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

Estimate and confirm performance parameters on concept level using prototyping platforms to feedback into the development lifecycle. Ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety and security regulations would be aspects of your role. Continuous learning about emerging technologies in automotive electronics is also essential.

 

Your Profile

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering

- Interest in automotive communication technologies

- Sense of understanding technical requirements and customer expectations

- Experience using programming languages (C/ C++)

- Comfortable working in a global team

- Motivated to continuously develop skills and knowledge

- Fluent in English (written and spoken) and German (preferable)

 

Optional Requirements

- Knowledge of hardware description languages (Verilog/ VHDL)

- SOC and Microcontroller system architecture

- Embedded programming

- Interest in network security protocols and algorithms
