JOB DESCRIPTION

Warehouse Custodian 

Reports to: 

Facilities supervisor

Job Summary: 

General, routine custodial and maintenance service functions within the facility. 

Primary Duties (5-7 Key responsibilities) 

• Perform variety of general custodial and maintenance functions through the facility, specifically the warehouse and the outside areas around the facility 

• Disposal of corrugated cardboard 

• Disposal of trash 

• Maintaining good housekeeping in and around aisles 

• Will perform a variety of other housekeeping/custodial duties 

• Will assist the maintenance team as needed 

• Operates motorized industrial equipment as needed to perform assignments such as sit-down forklift and industrial floor sweeper/scrubber 

• Operate within standard operating procedures 

• Adhere to all safety standard and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines 

• Timely, regular and dependable attendance  

• Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications: 

Qualifications: 

• Good performance and safety records  

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds in proper manner 

• Ability to work with minimal supervision 

• Ability to pass the motorized industrial equipment test and obtain license 

• Physical Requirement: Must be able to properly lift, pack, stack and wrap up 50 pounds on a regular basis 

• Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and use hands to touch, grasp, handle and feel items. Noise level is usually moderate. Warehouse temperature may reach up to 90 degrees during the Summer months. 

Education And/Or experience:
