Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will develop and design moderately complex application testing methodologies, perform application automation testing, prepare reports, and document testing results.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
The Sr. Software Developer Engineer in Test role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Develop quality test automation solutions for performance testing.
  • Coordinate engineering and product teams to design moderately complex, automated test methodologies.
  • Performs end-to-end automation testing.
  • Review product scalability, reliability, consistency, and performance.
  • Verifying that new functionality and/or other non-functional requirements have been satisfied, and component calculations are implemented in the software as per the requirements

 

Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences:

  • 2 years experience

Desired Experiences:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • 6 years experience preferred 
  • Extensive experience of Creating, Modifying and Maintaining new and existing Automation Framework Models such as Behavior Driven, and Data Driven, by using Page Object Model and Page Factory Design.
  • Knowledge of mortgage industry mathematics is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills to conduct analysis independently to address complex economic or business problems
  • Familiarity with SAS and experience with SQL

Skills

  • Programming including coding, debugging, and using relevant programming languages
  • Experience defining and managing changes to documents, code, computer programs, websites, and other files to enable collaboration and ensure teams are working from the latest version
  • Experience in the process of analyzing data to identify trends or relationships to inform conclusions about the data
  • Communication including communicating in writing or verbally, copywriting, planning and distributing communication, etc.
  • Relationship Management including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc.
  • Product Testing including testing and evaluating software, usability testing, UAT, and using relevant product testing technology
  • Experience identifying measures, or indicators of system performance, and the actions needed to improve or correct performance to achieve desired outcomes
  • Experience using software and computer systems' architectural principles to integrate enterprise computer applications such as xMatters, AWS Application Integration, or WebSphere


Tools

  • AWS: S3, Lambda and Step functions, EC2/EMR, SNS/SQS, DynamoDB/Postgres SQL/Redshift/RDS
  • Familiarity with SAS
  • Open-source automation tools (Selenium, Selenide, Cucumber, Gherkin)
