The Cardiovascular Department at North Alabama Medical Center offers RNs the opportunity to work in a fast‑paced, highly specialized environment where teamwork, innovation, and patient-centered care are at the heart of everything we do. How you’ll contribute

 

For RNs looking for cardiovascular unit that challenges you, supports your growth, and values your voice as a nurse, North Alabama Medical Center is the place to build your career.

  • Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
  • Documents patient care and monitors patient condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient, and family.
  • Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
  • Coordinates patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
  • Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.
  • Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
  • Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance.

Schedule: 3x12 Full Time – Day Shift 

 

What we’re looking for

  • Associate’s degree or higher in Nursing

  • Current Alabama RN license (or eligible for licensure).

  • BLS required
