Position Start Date: April 28, 2026

Required Degree: Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Must have the required degree by the start date.

Experience:  Experience as a software engineer. Ability to teach the following subjects at a beginning level:

Fundaments of Python:

  • How to solve problems using the Python language.

  • Familiarity with Python fundamentals, along with OOP, Pandas, GitHub, Web scraping, and PostgreSQL database.

Duties/Expectations: 

  • Teach IS 303: Introduction to Computer Programing. This course focuses on the practical application of fundamental Python programming principles, including object-oriented programming. Programming skills are developed and tested through small programming tasks and projects, including manipulating spreadsheets through Python code, interacting with databases and Pandas Data Frames, and web scraping.

  • Coach students on professional presentations, proposals, and client meetings.
