About the role:

Are you passionate about cooking and sustainability? OzHarvest is looking for a motivated Chef to support across across OzHarvest's kitchen programs - food prep, manage events on our food truck, and support catering services—all while helping reduce food waste and nourish communities.

In this role, you’ll drive our food truck to events, prepare meals, ensure food safety, and deliver top-notch service to both community and corporate clients. You'll also act as an ambassador for OzHarvest’s mission, spreading our values at every event.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare meals and support kitchen operations

- Drive the food truck and manage event setup/cleanup

- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness

- Act as an OzHarvest ambassador at events

What We’re Looking For:

- 3+ years in a professional kitchen

- Certificate III in Hospitality/Commercial Cookery

- Valid driver’s license (LR for food truck)

- Strong communication skills and customer service
