We’re looking for a dynamic Manager, Manufacturing Operations to oversee critical areas of our production value stream. In this role, you’ll guide Team Leaders and production team members to deliver outstanding performance in safety, quality, delivery, and cost while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Position

In this role, you will:
Drive Operational Excellence:
Oversee production line operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency targets are met. Lead start-up activities, manage staffing, and utilize tools like production line boards for performance tracking and issue resolution.Champion Lean Practices:
Implement and sustain Lean manufacturing principles, driving problem-solving, root cause analysis, and process improvement through tools like Yamazumi charts and kaizen events.Elevate Quality Standards:
Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to ensure defect-free production. Monitor metrics like scrap and first-pass yield, proactively addressing and resolving quality challenges.Promote Safety Culture:
Lead safety initiatives, including accident investigations and corrective actions. Foster compliance with safety protocols and champion environmental sustainability efforts.Inspire Leadership:
Develop and coach Team Leaders and production teams, ensuring alignment with standardized work processes, cross-training, and employee engagement.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years of leadership experience and/or technical acumen within a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated experience working with individuals at all levels of the organization to achieve operational results and positive union relations.
- High level of initiative, energy and motivation to develop & grow in a team environment
- Organizational skills, initiative, and ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks.
- Proven technical competency & experience.
- Position supports 24/7 manufacturing facilities. Occasional off shift, on call and weekend work may be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, supplier management and project implementation.
- Six Sigma certification preferred, with strong knowledge of Lean, DMAIC, workout and other change mechanisms.
- Demonstrated accomplishments showing results-driven methodology, analytical methods, schedule achievement, teamwork.
- Lean Manufacturing implementation experience.
