About the role
Kaleyra is seeking a People Operations Specialist reporting to the VP People Operations to manage our People & Culture operations in North America, supporting c.120 staff.
The role works closely with the global functional HR Business partners, the local leaders in The Campaign Registry (TCR) and Kaleyra and the Talent team
The role will manage P&C for the region and be part of the regional management group, working with senior colleagues in Sales, Finance and Technology. It has no team management responsibilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating end-to-end transactional support in P&C which includes Onboarding, Payroll Processing, Statutory Compliance, Performance Management, Exit Process, day-to-day queries.- Deliver the full range of P&C operations in the region from supporting hiring to exit, including managing payroll, compliance & P&C data input
- Work with the wider P&C team heads to manage HR operations and implement policies and practices;
- Take a key role working with Regional functional leads to build and encourage the Kaleyra culture and organization;
- Support the coaching and upskilling of staff, and managers in the development of their people management skills;
- Support the successful delivery of the key annual operational activities such as promotions, budgeting, career reviews and salary review; utilizing Workday.
- Proactively encourage a culture of regular constructive feedback;
- Understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to ensure smooth continuity of operations
- Vendor Management, acting as a single point of contact to manage vendors, including agreement, negotiation and execution
Requirements
Essential
- 4-5 years of relevant P&C operations experience.
- Demonstrable ability to support 100-200 employees
- Experience of working directly with senior management to lead and embed culture.
- Proven ability to operate and manage the full breadth of P&C process, best practice and policy in a changing and growing environment
Preferred
- Previous experience in a technology firm;
- Previous experience with an enterprise level HRIS/HCM, ideally having been part of an implementation.
- Experience in deleivering P&C across various subsidiaries and companies.
- Flexible availability for meetings in different timezones
- Comfortable being managed remotely.
