Main Responsibilities:
- Working alongside the ServiceNow Principal Architect and Development Teams, you will be the primary developer responsible for the HRSD ServiceNow application.
- Guiding the stakeholder to maximize the investment in ServiceNow by delivering out-of-the-box solutions to meet their business needs.
What you’ll do:
- Provides HRSD specific development within ServiceNow
- Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing
- applications
- Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains ServiceNow software
- applications
- Analyzes requirements, and maintains, tests and integrates application components
- Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented
- Handles incidents per published SLAs, ensures system stability by leading required maintenance schedule, and addresses system issues impacting SLAs
- Implement ServiceNow workflows that integrate with external web services
- Manage our HR team’s implementation of HRSD, ensuring that they adhere to out-of-box functionality rather than customizing the platform.
- Designs and develops a workflow framework that can be applied to many workflows, and continuing to seek new opportunities to improve our current manual processes
- Provides standard methodologies for guiding adoption and influencing the customer to make investments in the solution
- Defines the services that ServiceNow delivers and gets alignment with customers on service definitions, SLAs and critical metrics
- Contributes to a ServiceNow roadmap that plans out investments in system maintenance, upgrade schedule, system improvements and additions to the ServiceNow ecosystem that aligns with the longer term goals and objectives within HRSD
- Manages COEs, HR Services, Catalog, Portal, Knowledge Base, Assignment Rules, and misc. configurations within HRSD
Experience & Skills:
- 3+ years’ experience developing on the ServiceNow platform
- ServiceNow Certified Systems Administration (CSA) certification
- HR Professional Suite Certification
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification
- Experience in HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX
- Experience of one popular web framework - React, AngularJS
- Ability to develop web services such as Scripted REST APIs and Rest Messages
- Experience with standard methodologies of software development - logging, unit testing (ATF), code reviews, etc
- Advanced scripting experience utilizing best practice formatting and comments in Script Includes, Business Rules, etc
- Excellent communication skills
Desirable Skills:
- Experience utilizing the Agile/Scrum methodology to define and deliver development work
- Certified Implementation Specialist certification in one of the OOTB ServiceNow modules
- (ITSM, ITBM, ITOM, etc.)
- ServiceNow Service Portal micro-certifications
- ITIL V3 Foundation or above
