Practice Mgr III Oncology and Palliative Medicine- Physician Support and Palliative Medicine

40 Hours per week- Day Shift- Salary

Position Summary:

Responsible for leadership, direction, coordination and management of daily operations for Hematology/Oncology, Radiation Oncology and Palliative Medicine clinic practices, including satellite clinics. The Practice Manager ensures operational excellence to support the physicians and midlevel providers to provide safe, efficient and compassionate patient care, following the rules, regulations, policies and processes of a hospital outpatient department.

Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required:

The following qualifications are the minimum requirements necessary to adequately perform this job. However, any equivalent combination of experience, education and training which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities would be considered, subject to any legal and/or regulatory requirements.

· Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field, business administration and/or a related field preferred; Associate degree plus experience will be considered.

· Minimum five years of healthcare experience preferred; managerial experience preferred

· Knowledge of CMS, OSHA, Joint Commission/ACHC regulations

· Knowledge of medical necessity, basic ICD coding and documentation required

· AVADE workplace violence prevention training (Level II) required after hire, not to exceed 3 months, and maintained annually
