Business Data Intelligence Tools allow analytics and executives to get the information they need to make critical strategic decisions in a fast-paced rapidly changing business world. Our customers are typically users who are unfamiliar with database schema and technology, so we focus on building Next generation Self-Service Data Discovery and Analytics platform. This team provide you the opportunity to build and operate a suite of massive scale, integrated cloud services in a broadly distributed, multi-tenant cloud environment.
For this position, we are seeking a full stack data engineer to join our growing team in the United States with following skills
As a member of the FDI Pipeline team:
- You will learn Business/functional requirements from Product Managers/Subject Matter Experts and analyze data sufficiency
- You will design/implement data models and pipelines to power reporting/analytics/ML-models. We deliver easy to explain/understand data models.
- You will own the own quality of the deliverable, design/develop unit/integration tests and also collaborate with QA counterparts.
- You will debug/analyze data issues (mismatch/refresh etc). In fact you will take data debugging into consideration as part of design.
- You will monitor and learn from current deployment statistics/customer feedback and advances of underlying platform to identify potential improvements.
- You will learn about prior art, competitive offering, new technologies and will get opportunity to influence the features of underlying platform.
- You will create supporting documentation, such as metadata and diagrams of entity relationships, business processes, and process flow
- BS or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent with 10+ years of applied experience5+ years of proven experience working in data architecture/engineering/modeling
- Strong knowledge of Kimball and data model best practices in big data world.
- Experience with analytical relational databases (understanding of Execution Plan, partitions)
- Experience with big data systems Spark (understanding of driver, executors, partitions)Proficiency in SQL, data modeling tools, and ETL processes/patterns/best practices.
- Experience with data analysis, basic statistics and visualization
- Strong problem-solving/analytical skills and eye for details
- Strong programming skills in Python/PySpark/JavaExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in Data Science concepts, Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence is a plus
- Experience in Software engineering is a plus
- Experience in development/supporting data product/solutions over multiple releases is a plus.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud and Oracle Analytics is a plus

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range: from $94,200 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
