Job Description Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated, intellectually curious, and results-oriented Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A that will thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for a wide variety of business planning and reporting with most focus on cost of revenue. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role where you will interact with leadership on a regular basis. You will partner with multiple functions to deliver accurate and meaningful performance updates and business improvement insights.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Produce monthly reports which include key metrics, financial results and variance analysis related to operational expenses
- Maintain rolling 12-month forecast for Cost of Revenue, Finance and HR
- Present and explain financial performance and key variances and changes vs. forecast, plan and prior year
- Work alongside business line leaders to their expenses/investments
- Provide analytical, forecasting and reporting to business leaders
- Lead communications and status reporting to internal partners
- Prepare and consolidate slide decks for various presentations & team reviews
- Build and maintain cross-functional relationships with key business partners including but not limited to Ops, accounting, treasury, tax, legal, and other teams to deliver accurate and meaningful performance updates
- Develop a robust understanding of the GTT business, financial and performance KPIs, key business and cost model metrics
- Identifies and implements ways to improve forecast/budget accuracy and timeliness using automation and new tools
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years FP&A experience
- Experience with cost of revenue in a telecom experience highly desirable
- Excel Power expert
- Ability to manipulate large data sets, understanding currency differences
- Able to distill, create and tell a story using data and metrics
- Solid understanding of accounting concepts
- Strong financial acumen and business judgment
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities
- Forecasting and data analysis experience
- Effective communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) with an ability to explain sophisticated issues in an understandable way across all levels, including executive leadership
- Ability to build and maintain strong cross-functional business partnering relationships
- Excellent organizational skills, with extreme attention to detail, accuracy and accountability
- Comfortable with changing requirements and priorities & able to multi-task in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
