3rd Shift Creeler - (Commercial)

PURPOSE OF JOB:

To receive yarn to creel racks.  Properly hang and splice in when needed.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Receive yarn to creel.

• Make sure all tickets are accounted for and yarn color and lots match work order

• Hang yarn on creel, Splice in creel.

• Bending, stooping, and reaching overhead is required.

• Must have a good safety record.

• Must adhere to safety policies

• Must keep work area clean at all times.

• Able to work unsupervised and be self-motivated and work well with others.

• Other duties as instructed by supervisor

NEEDED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Capable of safely lifting 50 lbs.

• Ability to verify yarn color

• Ability to bend, stoop, stretch, and stand for long periods of time

• Ability to read yarn labels

• Ability to follow instructions on tufting orders

• Ability to hang 306 to 612 cones of yarn and remove 306 to 612 cones of yarn on creels in an 8-to-10-hour shift (depending on work schedule)

• Keep records on daily report

• Abide by WCM Philosophies.
