Senior Project Manager

What does a successful Senior Project Manager do at Fiserv?

You will join our Output Solutions (FOS) organization and focus on operations projects across our high-volume production facilities. You will lead strategic initiatives that enhance manufacturing efficiency, support capacity expansion, and ensure operational continuity. Projects may include equipment installations, facility upgrades, process automation, and performance optimization initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management discipline, operations experience, and cross-functional leadership skills in a regulated production environment.

What you will do:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of facility-based operations projects, including planning, execution, and post-implementation review.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans detailing scope, timelines, budget, risk mitigation, and success criteria.
  • Partner with production, engineering, quality, procurement, and technology teams to drive project outcomes.
  • Manage vendor engagement and onsite coordination to ensure timely, compliant installations and transitions.
  • Monitor project progress and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure adherence to project milestones and deadlines.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing effective contingency plans when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, standards, and best practices.
  • Communicate progress and escalate issues to site leadership and executive stakeholders as needed.

What you will need to have:

  • 6+ years of experience in managing cross-functional teams, working with stakeholders at various levels, and building strong relationships.
  • 6+ years of experience with capital projects, process improvement, or facility upgrades.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Operations Management, or a related discipline. Or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.

What would be great to have:

  • Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma certification(s).
  • Experience in card manufacturing, print operations, or fulfillment within a regulated industry.
  • Expertise in utilizing project management software (e.g., MS Project, Clarity, Jira).
  • PMP certification or similar recognized project management certification.
  • Master’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or related field.
  • Capacity to embrace change and quickly adapt to new situations, changes in direction, and altering priorities.
