Job Description
We are currently searching for a knowledgeable and experienced Trainer/Professional Development Specialist who is passionate about early childhood/elementary education to join our team. In this role, you will create and deliver original, customized content on a wide range of topics across the education landscape to industry leaders, families and educators. The position also involves presenting engaging in-field and virtual training sessions to support customer needs, as well as developing product alignments and other content-based assignments for our customers and colleagues.
The successful candidate will have deep knowledge of education best practices and extensive experience with various assessments and curricula. You must also be fluent in early learning education standards and initiatives, such as the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework, CLASS, Environment Rating Scales and QRIS. Additional knowledge of elementary standards, RTI/MTSS or additional intervention frameworks is preferred. The ideal candidate will hold certifications recognized in the Birth–Age 8 field, including K–5. Real-world classroom experience and a background in presenting and delivering professional learning and keynotes is essential. Excellent interpersonal skills are a must. You’ll work closely with company executives and a variety of colleagues and customers—from parents and teachers to high-level administrators at the district and state levels. This position will require a minimum of 50% travel within the United States, pending CDC and internal travel guidelines. The ideal candidate will be located near a major national airport such as ATL, ORD, DFW, DEN, LAX, SFO, JFK, MCO, CLT, PHX, MIA, EWR, SEA, PHL, IAD, MSP, DTW or SLC.

Qualifications
Got the skills and experience? Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Strong background in creating, designing and delivering professional development content and keynotes
- Classroom experience required: Elementary; EC/Infant/Toddler is a plus
- Strong knowledge of current education mandates and initiatives at the elementary (K–6) levels; early childhood knowledge preferred
- CLASS reliability preferred (Pre-K), Infant/Toddler also preferred
- Fluency in Head Start and Early Head Start preferred
- Familiarity with Social-Emotional curricula and programs (e.g., Conscious Discipline, Second Step, Pyramid Model)
- Superb communication skills
- Ability to travel at least 50%+ within the U.S. to provide professional development training
- Teaching/administrative credentials and/or academic coaching expertise preferred
- Strong professional work ethic
- Exceptional organizational and operational skills, including managing multiple simultaneous projects, tight deadlines, calendars and various forms of communication (email, phone, Microsoft Teams)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and familiar with online presentation platforms
