Partner with BAYADA to become an RBT:
- Fully PAID training to prepare you to become a nationally certified Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT®) (includes exam reimbursement)
- Up to 80 hours of classroom and hands-on learning to use applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to help clients learn and grow
Responsibilities for a BAYADA Behavior Technician includes:
- Work directly with students in the classroom, following the established service plan.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients and school teams. Respect the values, thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes of clients and families.
- Implement behavior therapy techniques and collaborate with teachers to support the student in the classroom environment.
- Document interventions and progress towards goals
- Collect behavior data as specified in client behavior plan.
- Provide training, instruction, and assistance to help the student acquire and maintain skills and to help meet identified goals.
- Provide training and/or support to the client in interpersonal skills, the development and maintenance of personal relationships, and building independence in their school routine.
Qualifications for a School-Based Behavior Technician:
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certified or the desire to pursue certification (paid for by BAYADA)
- Be at least 18 years of age
- One year exp
