Corteva Agriscience™ presents an exciting opportunity for a Biostimulants Customer Agronomist based in Cremona, Italy.

The Biostimulants Customer Agronomist (BCA), reporting to the Biostimulants Business Leader Italy, is the country expert for crops and the biostimulants product line.

The BCA identifies and interprets technical needs from end users, influencers and channel partners, translating them into projects, trials and collaborations, and driving the technical positioning of biostimulants within the Corteva LPCT team.

The role is pivotal to new product launches, ensuring strong technical support and effective knowledge transfer to Corteva teams and key stakeholders.

The BCA will also support marketing and sales activities for the existing portfolio.

Your Responsibilities:

Market Intelligence

  • Liaise with Corteva Biologicals channel partners, end users, officials, and other influencers to collect and interpret technical needs for crops, products, and programs.
  • Analyze competitive environment.

Projects Definition

  • Design and coordinate initiatives to collect market needs and define biostimulants positioning within the Corteva LPCT team.
  • Set objectives and coordinate the deployment of benefit trials.
  • Develop and manage customer‑focused demo trial programs in the country, aligned with LPCT priorities.
  • Engage with the EMEA Agronomy team to adapt and implement regional and global biostimulants projects locally.
  • Contribute to the development of new projects, by:
    • Supporting the creation of decision charts for new products/concepts,
    • Participating in Biology Review Meetings and representing country needs,
    • Providing agronomic know‑how to address specific local requirements.
  • Design and coordinate initiatives to collect market needs and define biostimulants positioning within the Corteva LPCT team.
  • Set objectives and coordinate the deployment of benefit trials.
  • Develop and manage customer‑focused demo trial programs in the country, aligned with LPCT priorities.
  • Engage with the EMEA Agronomy team to adapt and implement regional and global biostimulants projects locally.

Technical Transfer

  • Build trust and strengthen confidence in the Corteva Biologicals portfolio by delivering continuous, effective support to Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Share technical knowledge and advancements on topics relevant to the biostimulants business.
  • Analyze and refine data, literature, presentations, and marketing materials to ensure strong product positioning.
  • Drive technology transfer to sales teams, CTS, key stakeholders and influencers.

To Grow What Matters, You Will Need

  • Degree: Agricultural Sciences or related field.
  • Other valuable requirements: PhD, MSc, solid agronomic background on Plant Nutrition, Soil Science, Plant Physiology and Biostimulation. Project Management, good understanding of commercial competitive environment.
  • Experience: Strong knowledge of field/arable crops. Experience in field trials, product biology, R&D or product management.
  • Results and business oriented. Ability to work closely and build trust with technical stakeholders.
  • Good team worker demonstrating commitment and proactivity.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem solving and adaptability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, ARM and other relevant tools.
  • Languages: fluency in English and Italian.
  • Driving license and availability to frequent business travel.
