Job Description: 

The Cyber Threat Operation Center Senior Engineer supports Microsoft Azure Systems hybrid cloud infrastructure and its applications. The Senior CTOC Engineer will conduct network analysis of targets, operates daily open-source research (OSR) missions, resulting in various reports and alerts, and possesses extensive knowledge on network, endpoint, threat intelligence, as well as the functioning of specific applications or underlying IT infrastructure, and has some experience with forensics tools, malware analysis, closely involved in developing, tuning and implementing threat detection analytics.

Responsibilities include:

• The Senior CTOC Engineer will investigate, analyze, and respond to cyber incidents within the network environment or enclave.
• Works with alerts from the junior engineers, to perform in depth analysis and triage of network security threat activity based on computer and media forensics, malicious code analysis, and protocol analysis
• Assist with the development of incident response plans, workflows, and SOPs
• Acquisition, installation, maintenance, and usage of the Government Enterprise networks
• Engineering solutions within multiple Cloud Service Providers, in particular Azure
• Experience in Grafana or MSFT Sentinel or equivalent incident response tool
• Experience with an incident tracking system desired

Here's what you need:

• Minimum 6 years of experience with cloud infrastructure
• Bachelor’s degree or additional 4 years of cloud infrastructure experience
• Must have flexibility in shift hours
• Must be available for on-call support as required
• DoD 8570 Compliant with IAT Level 1 certification

Security Clearance:

• An active TS/SCI clearance is required to start

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.    

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role  

California: $105,200 - $168,400 

Colorado: $105,200 - $145,500 

New York City: $121,700 - $168,400

Washington: $112,100 - $154,900
