Who We’re Looking For: As a key member of the Manufacturing Engineering team, the Senior Manufacturing Engineering Technician will support efforts to maintain and verify equipment, supplies, materials, and tools for the production of medical devices. About the Role:
- Work with Manufacturing Engineering team to identify, research and procure required supplies, tools, jigs and equipment; transition new equipment, tools, and fixtures into manufacturing including creating, updating or modifying product or procedure documentation and training.
- Setup, test and troubleshoot equipment, conduct preventative maintenance on production tools and equipment. Support the development, validation and testing of new equipment and processes.
- Assist in maintaining the tool and equipment list and PM logs.
- Support Manufacturing Engineering with product non-conformance investigations and write ups.
- 3-5 years of experience in a related manufacturing environment.
- Electrical and pneumatic experience.
- Ability to use various assembly tools and manufacturing equipment.
- Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to multitask and handle multiple projects.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written, for interaction at all levels, both within and outside the company, to achieve goals and objectives.
- Experience with medical device construction and/or manufacturing processes
- Experience with SolidWorks and EQMS systems such as SmartSolve and SAP
