We are currently seeking a permanent full time Pulp Forklift Operator to join its vibrant team. The Pulp Forklift Operator will be responsible for efficiently and safely handling the reception, inventory, and movement of various forestry and agricultural products using both small and large forklifts/grapples. Your Work Schedule
• Day Shift From 5:00am – 5:00pm, with availability for additional hours if needed.
• In rotating pattern, week 1 is 2 days on, 3 days off, 2 days on & week 2 is 2 days off, 3 days on and 2 days off

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
• Ensure the opening of railcar hoppers using the forklift.
• Operate small and large forklifts or grapples to handle incoming and outgoing forestry and agricultural products daily (approximately 70% of the job)
• Receive and verify the accuracy of shipments and accurate inventory records.
• Unload and transship palletized or ground-loaded goods, ensuring goods are properly secured and placed.
• Safely transport materials to stack and store products in designated areas.
• Inspect forklifts and other equipment to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
• Follow safety procedures and protocols at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Assist with other general tasks and duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 2 to 3 years’ Experience driving a forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• Experience with both small and large forklifts and grapples/ clamp lift preferred.
• Consciousness of space and ability to operate the forklift in tight spaces.
• Valid forklift certification (an asset)
• Ability to lift heavy objects (less than 100 pounds) and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Required skills include autonomy, meticulousness, organization and speed of execution.
• Ability to follow safety regulations and procedures
