THE JOB:

As the Assistant Security Shift Manager at MGM Grand, you’ll help protect one of the most iconic and energetic resorts on the Strip, home to world-class entertainment, nightlife, and high-stakes excitement. You’ll lead your team with confidence, ensure each shift runs seamlessly, and help create a safe, welcoming environment for both guests and employees.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Promote a safe and secure environment for guests and employees

• Enforce company, local, state, and regulatory safety policies

• Manage security officers, support staff, and department operations

• Implement procedures, enforce policies, and provide coaching or discipline as needed

• Document incidents and ensure proper reporting and follow-up

• Respond to emergencies and reported threats

• Act as a liaison with outside agencies during security incidents

• Assist with and oversee onsite investigations as needed

• Address guest questions and concerns quickly and professionally

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Two (2) years of direct security experience in a high-end resort/casino environment or law enforcement and/or military experience, with previous supervisory experience or in a team leader capacity

• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders

• Ability to maintain professionalism and master leadership abilities

• Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
