Job Description

*This position operates in an outsourced capacity, servicing a bulge bracket, investment banking client of RRD.

The successful candidate will lead two teams: Research and Financial Analysis. These teams support our client’s bulge bracket investment bank. They collaborate with several divisions within the bank, including Investment Banking, Equity Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets, Investment Management, and Risk Management.

This is a leadership opportunity for finance professionals seeking high finance / investment banking experience while delivering extraordinary service and expertise.

This role will be responsible for setting priorities, general project / team oversight, and understanding / deploying the resources required for a wide variety of requirements.

• Oversee staff of approximately 15 professionals in North America

  • Methodically analyze data and transform complex information into a logically simple, readable format to enable decision making.
• Research Team
  • Provide value-added, consistently accurate, targeted, and timely third-party research on industries and markets to support strategic financial decisions
  • Utilize high-end paywalled databases to distill data and information to its salient points for our clients to gain insight without reading more than a couple of pages or a short slide deck
  • Bring an extra layer of skill to searching for hard-to-find information and a practiced eye for the most credible sources
  • Conduct news runs on specific industries and topics
  • Knowledge management: utilization of tools including Jive, Microsoft SharePoint, and email forums
• Analyze performance and key metrics and compare to benchmark expectations from client and counsel team members on their performance
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Proactively address, handle, and rectify all client and team concerns

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
• 5+ years of relatable experience required
