As a program analyst, you love diving into data and turning it into meaningful insights. We need an analyst like you to bring your knowledge to support decision makers in understanding their return on investment as our client modernizes the Live-Virtual-Constructive Training Environment across the Marine Corps enterprise.
As a client-facing program analyst on our Marine Corps team, you’ll work closely with your clients to understand their questions and needs and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. Not only will you provide a deep understanding of their data, but you’ll also advise your client on what the information means and how it can be used to make an impact on modernization efforts.
How You’ll Contribute:
As a program analyst on our team, you’ll:
- Collect and manage data from existing systems.
- Develop repeatable data pipelines for system utilization metrics.
- Ensure data handling complies with USMC and DoD cybersecurity and governance standards.
- Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics and key performance indicators to drive technical outcomes and conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to assess training effectiveness, system ROI, and cost avoidance.
- Apply predictive analytics to forecast system demand, training requirements, and enterprise resource needs.
- Present data findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders using your knowledge of databases, USMC Systems, and Microsoft Office Suite, to support leadership decision-making, aligned with Force Design and Training and Education 2030, and campaign plans.
- Support operational assessments and experiments by designing data collection frameworks, analyzing outcomes, and drafting after-action reports.
- Deliver training and familiarization sessions to staff on the use of data tools and dashboards.
- Use your technical knowledge and analytical mindset to support client and stakeholder relationships.
- Research, develop, and test data methodologies, and generate cross-functional solutions through collection, interpretation, and analysis of data sets.
- Produce dashboards, executive-level reports, and visualizations through different formats such as Power BI, Tableau, or Dundas BI.
- Grow your communication and technical skills by creating data-centric solutions across the Marine Corps.

You Have:
- Experience working with Marine Corps training and education
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as MS Power BI, Tableau, or Dundas BI, including dashboard creation and data processing
- Experience integrating large and complex datasets into actionable products
- Experience writing and speaking to senior-level audiences
- Knowledge of Project Tripoli and the Marine Corps’ enterprise modernization effort for a Live-Virtual-Constructive Training Environment
- Knowledge of data pipelines
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with Marine Corps or DoD training systems, simulation environments, or command and control systems
- Experience with cloud-based data management in DoD enterprise environments
- Experience supporting LVC, M&S, or enterprise training modernization efforts
- Experience with SharePoint development
- Bachelor’s degree
