Role Responsibilities

The position will report to the Senior Director, Corporate Strategy with exposure to the Executive Leadership Team and senior stakeholders, and will support the Director, Corporate Strategy on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will be able to act as one of the core members of a small, internal consulting group that brings strategic thinking, analytic rigor, and overall excellence to Suntory Global Spirits high priority initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

• Develop mid and long-term enterprise strategic projects that will materially contribute to SGS success.
• Build and deliver the annual Strategic Planning Cycle (e.g., Strategic Plan, Strategic Priorities etc.) as well the development of executive materials (e.g., Board Decks, ELT rev, Chairman of the Board etc.).
• Work with the Senior Director/Director in supporting requests from the Global Chief Strategy Officer and other senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience:

• >5 years of top-tier strategy consulting experience, or a mix of strategy consulting & “in-house” strategy experience
• Advanced proficiency in building executive-level presentations in PowerPoint without/ with minimal supervision
• Strong problem solving and ability to relay analysis/recommendations in clear and structured way
• Good intuition with data, analytics and insights, including advanced Excel modeling skills
• Proven experience in working proactively across multiple functions, including senior stakeholders’ interactions
• International background and/or experience, with a passion to work in a multicultural environment, and the ability to work across locations and time-zones is desirable
