Contains processing of use case and feature requirements into conceptual models, operational scenarios, technical requirements, and functional description. Covers specification, design, implementation, and unit testing of Software (e.g. device drivers, microcode, hardware-related software &amp; firmware) according to the requirements and architecture defined in the systems engineering process. This role is designed to help shape processes, tools, and capabilities and take the SaaS DevOps team to world class quality and capability!</p> <p> </p> <p>This DevOps Engineer position will be a key role in the onboarding of SaaS applications, automating deployments and configuration changes into customer instances, upgrading customer instances, and continually improving the quality and capability of the SaaS Delivery &amp; Operations Framework.</p> <p> </p> <p><u>What you will learn and contribute to</u></p> <p>As part of the team, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Work on CI/CD pipeline automation using Azure DevOps, GitHUB, Helm, and other similar DevOps tools and capabilities</li> <li>Provide growing and expanding expertise with public hyperscaler provider cloud-native components and services (in AWS, GCP, Azure)</li> <li>Onboard Nokia SaaS applications (use cases) by partnering with product R&amp;D teams to automate deployment and delivery using Terraform/Terragrunt/Crossplane with GitOps</li> <li>Provide support and maintenance of pipeline automation and service delivery capabilities</li> <li>Partner with SaaS Delivery &amp; Operations Framework PLM and Dev teams to expand cloud native capabilities as needed to support continuous service improvement</li> <li>Partner with Nokia and CNS enterprise teams to identify ongoing opportunities to align SaaS capabilities with technical blueprints, delivery orchestration strategies and tools, and any standards or best practices that emerge over time</li> <li>Create, organize, and adhere to documentation for DevOps processes, procedures, and maintenance</li> <li>Assure accuracy of, and actively populate, Knowledge Management contents and documentation<br/> </li> </ul> <p><br/><br/>• Recognised expert in one or more aspect of MS operations automation, at a regional or global level.<br/><br/>• Addresses and resolves highly complex MS operations automation performance issues or challenges including via technical leadership of highly-skilled teams.<br/><br/>• Interprets internal and external Managed Services new services operational and technology challenges and recommends how they should be overcome.<br/><br/>• Takes a leadership role in the development of innovative practices to improve Managed Services operations automation.<br/><br/>• Approves new and / or changes to guidelines and procedures used by Managed Services Development Operations (MS DevOps) engineers.<br/><br/>• Contributes to strategic decisions for not only Managed Services operations automation, but also Managed Services business.<br/><br/>• Contributes to development of concepts to determine professional direction of Managed Services delivery operations personnel.<br/><br/>• Acts as a professional leader for Managed Services operations, mentoring senior DevOps engineers.<br/><br/>• Often leads longer-term Managed Services complex improvement projects with moderate resource requirements, risk and complexity.<br/><br/>• Manages new software versions releases based on scrum or agile release cycle to meet customer
