The HR Director – Talent Management reports to the Vice President of People and Culture North America. The role is responsible for the acquisition, development, and training of talent for Bureau Veritas.  The HR Director will develop a strategy focused on employee experience, competency, succession, and learning enabling the sustainable growth of the business by ensuring that the organization attracts, develops, and retains competent employees. The position is also responsible for ensuring that the strategy for acquiring, training, developing and growing competency integrates with the overall talent management strategy for the business. The HR Director Talent Mgmt. works closely with Human Resource professionals and senior business leaders to understand the business strategy to help them align talent, culture, and capabilities to support both short and long-term organizational objectives.

The role holder will influence a complex organization and will be able to flex between leading the strategy, to taking a very hands-on approach to execution and implementation. Success in the role requires strategic perspective, a bias for action and the ability to build credible relationships with leaders and functions inside and outside of HR.

 

What You'll Do:

•            Provide leadership, guidance and strategy for Bureau Veritas Talent including acquisition, development, learning and growth across all systems and processes that will sustain and increase organizational performance and retention of leaders and talent.

•            Provide vision, strategy, and implementation of talent acquisition, training, development, and competency solutions to support the organization’s strategic plan and continually improve performance as measured by department statistics and trends, benchmarks, and initiatives.

•            Strategize and design training, development and competency programs and policies including, by not limited to - Competency, Leadership, Succession Management, Performance Management, Training and Development.

•            Work with senior business leaders across Product Service Lines/Corporate Shared Services and geographical regions to drive training, development, and competency success.

•            Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to senior leadership on training, development, and competency initiatives.

•            Evaluate and measure program success, customer satisfaction, quality of program design and deployment, and program budget target.

•            Create value through system workflows, eliminating waste in time/effort and optimizing the available HR Resources.

•            Leading Talent acquisition systems and recruiting.

•            Designing, implementing, and overseeing learning & development programs.

•            Oversee assessment & succession programs.

•            Leading and coaching the team.

•            Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
