Position Summary:

The Vitamin Store Operator opens, runs, and closes three separate employee vitamin stores across Pharmavite’s California production facilities under limited supervision for the Facilities Services Department.  We’re looking for an energetic, pro-active, and diligent professional to fit into our dynamic team, and be responsible for a variety of duties including vitamin store cash management, inventory management, ordering and stocking product, preparing accurate close-out records for Accounting and providing administrative support the Facilities Team as needed.  Excellent customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously are critical in this role. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel between three Pharmavite employee stores located at the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys and occasional trips to the bank to collect change for the cash registers  
• Exercising good judgment and integrity while opening/closing vitamin stores, handing cash from registers, preparing vitamin store deposits and close-out documentation, and conducting daily audits of cash registers 
• Using two different point of sales systems to apply cash and credit transactions, and managing inventory in the primary POS system 
• Maintaining accurate records, applying monthly employee allowances to vitamin purchases, and carefully tracking all used monthly allowances for tax reporting 
• Ordering, stocking, and ensuring consistent inventory in the stores 
• Pulling vitamin store orders off pallets in the warehouse and carrying them to their respective vitamin stores, as well as verifying packing slips against orders 
• Providing support to the Facilities team by updating office seating plans for space management, as well as managing and maintaining appliances/supplies in shared employee spaces, and performing other related duties as assigned 

Education and Experience:

• A high school diploma or its equivalent  
• A valid CA driver’s license, adequate car insurance, and a good driving record, and be able to maintain them 
• 3 months to 1-year related experience 
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Teams 
• Ability to accurately close out sales on a POS system and maintain meticulous records 
• Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 30 pounds

The salary range for this position is $40,000.00 to $64,000.00.

Actual compensation will take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, education, experience, qualifications, and job-related skills. It is not typical for an individual to be hired above the midpoint of the range for their role and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case.
