Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems FRST Operating Unit has an opening for a Principal Logistics Management Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. You will be assigned as a Principal Logistics Management Analyst supporting F-35 organizational maintenance at NAS Lemoore, CA. Your Mission will be to support O-Level maintenance on F-35.
Your duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
You are responsible for expediting aircraft troubleshooting while ashore or afloat. Serve as the on flightline or flight deck maintenance expeditors, shift maintenance priorities as aircraft availability changes.
Your duties will augment maintenance control and help control the flow of maintenance while keeping up with an aggressive flight schedule.
Be familiar with the Foreign Object Damage (FOD) program as per OPNAVINST 4790.2 (series), and coordinate and lead FOD walk down evolution to identity potential FOD or sources of FOD.
You will Coordinate communication between the squadron and the ships maintenance departments while at sea for combat FOD walks, fuel support, aircraft movement, support equipment and elevator movements.
You will Integrate with the host squadron, advises host squadron and NGC maintenance leadership of schedule requirement and production issues as they pertain to squadron aircraft.
You will be required to obtain and maintain, safe-for-flight qualification within one (1) year from date of employment and maintain qualification throughout duration of employment.
You will manage multiple maintenance disciplines in an integrated workforce environment that consists of Military and Northrop Grumman employees.
You will create and assign work-orders in the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) and accomplishes aircraft safety of flight releases as required.
You will manage aircraft maintenance servicing, repairing and overhauling aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure that aircraft are in good mechanical condition and safe for flight.
You will participate in maintenance meetings with the unit or coordinates maintenance status briefings at the customer’s request.
You will conduct safety briefings and addresses and resolves problematic maintenance complexities that arise in the completion of maintenance actions.
You will be expected to depart on temporary duty assignments with short notice, dependent on customer or NGC CLS needs to include stateside or overseas. This may include certain military required health screenings and immunizations.
Assist Managers and Site Lead in coordinating and executing the daily maintenance workload, setting priorities, assign and monitor maintenance status.
You must be able to work a flexible work schedule that may include first, second, third, or weekend shift, as directed by the lead Maintenance Manager.
You must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days a year.
