Position: Finance Manager, Lake County Site Manufacturing Operations
Location: Transfusion Medicine Business Unit, Abbott Park, Illinois
The Finance Manager role in ADD Lake County Site Manufacturing Operations is a key lead within the site finance team. The individual will provide and drive financial support for Plans, LBEs, Standard setting and monthly P&L and balance sheet reporting. The position will have exposure to both TM Division Financial & Business leadership. The position will be responsible for managing three senior cost analysts and one FPDP
What You’ll Do
- Development, management, coordination, of site financial Plans/LBE's/Confirmations and monthly analytics and reporting for Lake County Site. Includes analysis of SCOP/Thruput, P&L and Balance Sheet and manufacturing variances.
- Responsible for leading the annual standard setting process. This includes responsibility for timelines, definition, and communication of requirements, partnering with site operations management, analysis, and rationalization of overall plan profile, updating, and maintaining financial system data, burden rate development, cost change analysis and standard cost submissions.
- Partnering with the business and providing decision support for Lake County Site Senior Management concerning the achievement of business and financial objectives.
- Maintain proper internal controls and compliance with Abbott policies and procedures. Support both internal and external audit requests as well as SOX activities.
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of senior cost analysts, a FPDP, and summer intern.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor-Accounting / Finance or equivalent degrees MBA, CPA, or CMA a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance/accounting.
- Highly effective interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and influencing skills as position interfaces with various levels across the organization, including senior management in both finance and business functions.
- 1-2 years of prior experience in cost accounting/operations environment and / or prior experience managing people is a plus.
- Strong excel skills and knowledge of SAP.
