Job Summary

This position is responsible for the fulfillment of authentication credentials and authorization entitlements for the enterprise. Including account management, password configuration, non-person id creation, help desk resolution and fulfillment of business customer access requests.

Utilizing technical expertise in systems administration and security tools, combined with the knowledge of security practices and procedures. Enforcing security policies and procedures (eg, user log-on and authentication rules, security auditing procedures). Preparing status reports on security matters to develop security. Providing direct support to the business and it staff for systems security related issues. Educating users on systems security standards and procedures

NOTE:  This hybrid role is located in CHICAGO IL only ~ relocation will not be offered; sponsorship is not available.

Required Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s Degree OR 4 years of combined IT and security work experience with exposure to infrastructure/network and multi-platform environments. Knowledge of security issues, techniques and implications across all existing computer platforms.
* Knowledge and experience in own function; still acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills.
* Build knowledge of HCSC, business processes and customers.
* Solve a range of problems.
* Analyze possible solutions using standard procedures.
* Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction.
* Customer service skillset.
* Knowledge of network operating systems (e.g., Unix, Windows AD, eDirectory, SQL).
* Ability to work under tight deadlines. Time management skills, including organization, coordination of duties, and/or accomplishment of goals.
* Verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Preferred Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s OR Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
* 2 years of combined IT and security work experience with a broad exposure to infrastructure/network and multi-platform environments. Requires knowledge of security issues, techniques and implications across all existing computer platforms.

Base Pay Range

$48,600.00 - $107,300.00
