What this job involves:

As a Senior Accountant within our Client Accounting Services team, you'll serve as a strategic financial partner supporting facilities management operations across diverse real estate portfolios. This role combines technical accounting excellence with collaborative partnership, where you'll produce critical financial insights that drive profitable growth and informed decision-making. You'll work closely with facility managers, account leadership, and clients to deliver accurate reporting, meaningful analysis, and exceptional service. This position offers substantial exposure to complex real estate operations while contributing directly to JLL's reputation for financial integrity and client excellence.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with complete period-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all deliverables
  • Deliver insightful variance analysis and strategic commentary that identifies trends, drives profitable growth, and proactively highlights risk areas for stakeholders
  • Partner with JLL facility managers and account leadership to develop comprehensive budgets and forecasts that support operational planning
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations, manage bank accounts, and resolve outstanding items to maintain financial integrity and compliance
  • Coordinate accounts payable and receivable processes, including purchase orders, invoice processing, accrual tracking, and client funding requests
  • Participate in client meetings and internal reviews, presenting financial results and performance metrics with clarity and professionalism
  • Contribute analytical expertise to special projects, ad hoc requests, and cross-functional initiatives that enhance client service delivery.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with demonstrated technical proficiency
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong spreadsheet application capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with proven capacity to present financial information clearly
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and perform effectively under pressure
  • Self-motivated professional who works effectively both independently and within collaborative team environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA certification or progress toward certification
  • Real estate, property management, or facilities management accounting experience
  • Experience with real estate accounting systems or JD Edwards E1 platform
  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Familiarity with SOCR standards and internal audit compliance requirements
  • Track record of building strong client relationships and delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Estimated compensation for this position:

110,000.00 – 159,500.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
