Do These Responsibilities Interest YOU?
The Digital Marketing Intern supports Benco Dental’s Digital Marketing team with day-to-day campaign tasks across email, social media, and digital marketing projects. This role helps prepare and review campaign materials, organize social content, track assets and links, and assist with basic reporting. The intern will work from approved materials and team direction while learning how digital marketing campaigns are planned, launched, and measured in a B2B (business-to-business) environment.
- Assists with email marketing preparation and QA, including subject lines, preview text, copy, images, CTAs, links, UTM parameters, offer details, disclaimers, and landing pages.
- Supports recurring email and digital campaigns, including newsletters, promotional sends, vendor/co-op emails, event promotions, product spotlights, and dedicated campaigns.
- Helps maintain campaign calendars, send schedules, asset trackers, QA checklists, and campaign documentation.
- Drafts and organizes short-form social media content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and related digital channels using approved campaign materials.
- Assists with scheduling, organizing, and tracking organic social media content through tools such as HubSpot, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, or native social platforms.
- Help source, organize, or request images, videos, product details, campaign links, offer information, and creative assets from internal teams and vendor partners.
- Supports paid social and paid digital campaign coordination by organizing creative specs, copy, audience notes, landing page links, tracking details, and launch documentation.
- Monitors social media comments, messages, mentions, customer questions, and potential issues; flags follow-up needs to the appropriate internal team members.
- Pulls and organizes basic performance metrics from HubSpot, social media platforms, paid media platforms, Sprout Social, GA4, Looker Studio, or shared dashboards.
- Tracks basic campaign metrics such as delivered volume, opens, clicks, click rate, unsubscribe rate, impressions, reach, engagement, followers, spend, CTR, CPC, and conversions when available.
- Helps update spreadsheets, campaign summaries, screenshots, reports, and other documentation used by the Digital Marketing team.
- Participates in team meetings, project check-ins, brainstorms, and campaign planning discussions as needed.
- Complies with all policies and standards to support the efficient operations of the department and company
