Position Summary
The Food Production Supervisor oversees daily food manufacturing and packaging operations to ensure products are produced safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality standards, HACCP, and regulatory requirements. This role provides frontline leadership for production associates, promotes a culture of safety and accountability, and drives continuous improvement through communication, coaching, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise production line operations to meet daily schedules, yield, quality, and safety goals.
- Train, coach, and evaluate team members to uphold Taher standards in quality, food safety, and sanitation.
- Ensure adherence to GMPs, HACCP, and all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Monitor and document production data, line efficiency, and employee performance.
- Collaborate with maintenance, QA, and logistics teams to resolve issues and maintain workflow continuity.
- Conduct pre- and post-shift inspections to verify readiness, cleanliness, and compliance.
- Participate in daily production meetings and provide accurate shift handoffs.
- Support onboarding, cross-training, and performance development of production staff.
- Promote and enforce a safe work environment by identifying hazards and ensuring corrective actions.

- 3+ years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing, meal assembly, or related production environment.
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and USDA/FDA regulations.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with ability to manage diverse teams.
- Proven ability to meet production goals and maintain operational standards.
- Proficient with basic computer systems (production reporting, scheduling, ERP, or inventory software).
- Ability to work in a refrigerated or hot production environment and stand for extended periods.
- ServSafe certification (preferred).
- Pass a background check
