The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner (TAP) plays a critical role at RWE Clean Energy (RWECE) as the team is often the first point of contact for external Talent. The Senior TAP will focus on full life-cycle recruiting, including proactively sourcing talent, screening & interviewing candidates, advising on best practices, and negotiating and extending offers. You will work closely with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies and to support new hiring managers as they move through the interviewing and selection process.  You are the subject matter expert in Talent Acquisition, your counsel is of high value. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of urgency, the ability to build pipelines and develop long-term relationships with candidates and hiring managers, and an interest in process improvement.  The market and recruiting needs are always changing. This is a Hybrid work schedule for the Austin office. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic recruitment plans for critical business openings with a focus on sourcing passive talent across multi-disciplinary groups; possess the ability to be resourceful in remote locations, and proactively build Talent Pipelines for future hiring
  • Counsel hiring managers on candidate selections after qualifying all candidates submitted for review
  • Consult with hiring managers and provide your recruiting expertise on all hiring initiatives through regular follow-up meetings with hiring managers
  • Maintain an effective and positive relationship with all candidates as they progress through the recruiting process, communicating through all stages of the hiring process and providing closure
  • Understand candidate expectations early to ensure accurate information is shared with hiring managers and we can meet the needs of a candidate during the offer stage
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and HR when negotiating and extending offers
  • Analyze data and current recruiting trends to determine key performance indicators to ensure high team performance
  • Ensure appropriate administrative responsibilities are met during the life-cycle process
  • Contribute new ideas and support process improvement needs
  • Collaborate and participate in college recruiting, diversity & military recruiting, and support marketing awareness
  • Mentor other team members

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field or some college with equivalent applicable experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a full life-cycle recruiting environment required, preferably with a combination of a corporate and agency environment
  • Experience with a variety of competitive sourcing practices in and out of the energy industry and trends in supply and demand for client base
  • Ability to work proactively and resourcefully with excellent communication and time management skills
  • Understanding of US employment law, EEOC, and OFCCP practices; a strong dedication to uphold and expand Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging efforts within the recruiting process
  • Experience with online Applicant Tracking Systems; Success Factors preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) with a high level of presentation skills and Excel reporting preferred
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy
  • Flexible to work in various disciplines or client groups
  • Flexible to work with resources available as we grow the team
