About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Control Management Officer for the Corporate Risk Control Team within the Control Management organization. Control teams are responsible for partnering with the Corporate Risk teams to support implementation and oversight of control programs including Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Internal Control Policy (ICP) requirements, and Quality Control and Quality Assurance. 


In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex initiatives designed to mitigate current and emerging risks with broad impact

  • Act as key participant in monitoring, evaluating, and measuring the impact of decisions practiced in Control Management functional area

  • Monitor moderately complex business specific programs, and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk-mitigation strategies

  • Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area

  • Develop and implement risk monitoring and risk reporting processes and controls

  • Collaborate with relevant business group to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations, and provide guidance in developing and implementing risk-mitigating strategies

  • Lead Control Management project or virtual teams


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • People and initiative leadership experience

  • Experience supporting or directing offshore teams

  • Knowledge and understanding of Shared Risk Platform (SHRP) such as reporting and issue management

  • Second and third line of defense experience such as Compliance, Operational Risk and/or Audit background

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to consult, build, and maintain solid working relationships in and outside of immediate department

  • Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner

  • Ability to identify inefficiencies, opportunities to streamline business processes, and implement change

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule

  • Ability to work at one of the posting locations

  • Relocation is not offered for this role

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$111,100.00 - $197,500.00
