Take the next step in your leadership career with the Santa Monica Family Health Center, an outpatient primary and specialty care clinic! We are seeking a dedicated Practice Manager to drive excellence in patient care and service.
As Practice Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth clinic workflows, exceptional patient care, and effective business operations. You will work hand-in-hand with the Clinic Director to ensure high quality support services are provided to physicians and patients, and productive patient-physician-facility relationships.
- Lead and mentor front and back office teams, and administrative support staff
- Oversee patient access, care coordination, and clear communication pathways
- Manage physician, resident, and fellow schedules
- Provide empathetic solutions to patient concerns, enhancing their overall experience
- Drive financial performance through effective budget management and revenue cycle processes
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, delivering excellence in care
- Oversee facilities management, equipment maintenance, and inventory control
- Lead recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and staff development

Required:- Demonstrated effective supervisory skills including experience in recruitment, performance appraisal, identification and communication of expectations, discipline, and training.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology.
- Working knowledge of computerized appointment scheduling and registration system, and the ability to effectively train staff in the use of the system.
- Working knowledge of major medical insurance plans.
- Skill in analyzing information and procedures to define objectives, identify patterns and recognize alternatives and their implications.
- Skill in operating a personal computer and software programs, including MS Word, and Excel Spreadsheet.
