Job Description
As the Global Guard Force Manager, you will be responsible for leading the establishment, development, and management of Anduril's hybrid guard force, a blend of in-house and contracted personnel. This crucial role within the Global Corporate Security team focuses on the immediate priority of strengthening and optimizing our guard force operations. Reporting directly to the Deputy Director of Global Physical Security Operations, you will ensure that our guard force is equipped, trained, and fully prepared to protect our employees, facilities, and assets across all locations, starting with a strong foundation at our Costa Mesa HQ and expanding to cover all operational areas.

Your Role:
As the Global Guard Force Manager, you will spearhead the development and implementation of a comprehensive guard force program that aligns with Anduril's security vision and operational requirements. You will be directly involved in the recruitment, training, and leadership of our internal guard force members, creating synergies with contracted guards to form a cohesive and efficient team. Your responsibilities will also include the continuous evaluation and refinement of guard force protocols and performance, ensuring the highest standards of physical security are upheld globally.You will work closely with Anduril’s various business lines to support our employee protection and asset protection goals. You will develop and maintain necessary relationships to support the security objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a global guard force program that integrates both proprietary and contracted guards, setting a new standard for physical security operations.
  • Lead the recruitment, training, and ongoing professional development of in-house guard force personnel, fostering a culture of excellence and readiness.
  • Establish clear operational guidelines, performance metrics, and accountability structures for the guard force, ensuring consistency and quality across all sites.
  • Work closely with the Global Security Systems and Infrastructure team to align guard force activities with overall security systems and protocols.
  • Collaborate with the Crisis and Emergency Management program to enhance guard force response capabilities during emergencies and crisis events.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments specifically focused on guard force deployment and effectiveness, adapting strategies to mitigate potential threats.
  • Create and maintain up-to-date security plans and SOPs that reflect the active role of the in-house guard force in our security strategy.
  • Directly manage the guard force budget, ensuring funds are allocated efficiently and impactfully to support guard force excellence.
  • Implement and oversee a visitor management system that leverages guard force presence to secure company premises effectively.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of experience in physical security operations.
  • Proven track record of managing security projects from inception to completion.
  • Proven; Must have led a guard force or security guards/teams
  • High ethical standards.
  • Analytical and problem-solving aptitude.

Preferred:

  • Extensive corporate security experience, including program management or equivalent in law enforcement (8+ years preferred).
  • Proficiency with security technologies related to access control, surveillance, and intrusion detection.
  • Strong understanding of security operations and crisis management standards.
  • Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
