Adventist Health Care seeks to hire an experienced Receptionist for our Behavioral Health unit who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing
As a receptionist, you will:
• Serves patients by greeting and helping them, and maintaining log books
• Welcomes patients and visitors in person or on the telephone and answering or referring inquiries.
• Comforts patients by anticipating patients’ anxieties, answering patients’ questions, and maintaining the reception area.
• Ensures availability of treatment information by filing patient medical record
• Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
• Obtains revenue by recording and updating financial information.
• Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, verifying receipt of supplies, and scheduling equipment service and repairs.
• Helps patients in distress by responding to emergencies.
• Protects patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.
• Maintains operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Qualifications include:
• High School diploma - required
• Bachelor’s degree in related field - preferred
• At least one year of customer service experience working in a medical/mental health office or equivalent - required
Work Schedule:
This position is at the Behavioral Health building's front desk. Work hours are Saturday and Sunday 8a-6:30p

Pay Range:
$17.15 - $22.79If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
