Job Description:

Research Assistants (RAs) support new and ongoing research efforts varying by assignment to Baylor Accounting & Business Law faculty. RAs will have direct interactions with Baylor faculty and should demonstrate the ability to work independently, with a willingness and capability to enhance their software and statistical skills as required.

• Responsibilities include a wide variety of research tasks that may include: 
• Conducting and/or cross-checking data collection and entry
• Performing statistical analyses
• Creating and formatting tables and visualizations
• Searching for relevant academic articles and providing concise summaries of the findings
• Cross-checking references

Required skills include:

• Strong task prioritization and proactive approach
• Consistently fulfilling commitments in a timely manner
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in exercising sound judgment and providing/receiving constructive feedback
• Adherence to university policies and regulations
   
• Provide lab/research support for assigned area of responsibility 
• Assist with various projects, activities and tasks related to University laboratories and research 
• Adhere to and ensure safety procedures and precautions are followed 
• Ability to comply with University policies  
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
