The Musco Marketing team has an opening for a Technical Publication Specialist at our Oskaloosa office. This position is responsible for coordination and creation of product markings to meet the requirements relating to Musco branding, equipment identification, instructional aids, ratings data, and regulatory compliance information. This role also involves collaborating with teams, managing project timelines, and improving departmental practices. Essential Criteria:

• Associate's degree in a technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in technical communication, product marketing, graphic design, or a related field, is preferred.

• Adept with Adobe Illustrator software desired.

• Competent technical aptitude.

• Excellent writing skills.

• Proficient interpreting technical documentation.

• Knowledge of manufacturing and product marking processes.

• Skilled in typing and using computers effectively.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Innovative problem-solving with a team-oriented mindset.

• Familiarity with Musco solutions is a plus.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Identify product marking requirements to support brand image, product ratings, installation procedures, safety precautions, marking requirements for testing agencies, patent statements, and compliance with codes.

• Determine the medium for product marking and material specifications that best fits the project needs.

• Use graphic design software to create artwork for product markings, including development of content and illustrations as needed.

• Develop documentation that specifies the product marking requirements.

• Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, vendors, and production teams to support the implementation of product markings.

• Establish and maintain a comprehensive understanding of location specific products and labeling requirements to determine what variations may be needed.

• Assist with writing best practices relating to product markings.

• Other duties as assigned.
