The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Plant Project Sr Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Lead and guide project teams to develop and deliver project plans and critical Transition Agreement timelines.  This includes ramp-down and start-up of equipment and/or distribution operations and successful operations in new locations
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize project risks and ensure successful outcomes. Accountable for applying these strategies during oversite of budgeting and timely execution of projects
  • Ensure effective cross-functional communication and coordination between engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and business teams
  • Responsible to collaborate with engineering and finance to ensure budgets and total financial impacts are properly incorporated into operating and strategic plans, as well as explain any departures from plan
  • Ensure your team(s) are equipped for success and providing required project updates and escalations to required leadership and key stakeholders

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND twelve (12) years of Continuous Improvement and/or Project Management experience  

OR

  • High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution AND sixteen (16) years of Continuous Improvement and/or Project Management experience    

AND

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • Eight (8) years or more of Manufacturing operations experience in a complex global manufacturing environment with at least three (3) years working in global supply chains
  • Two (2) years of Project and/or program management experience
  • Three (3) years’ supervisory or leadership experience

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Strong negotiating skills – and business, contract language and financial acumen with an understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations, strategy development and managing stakeholders in both SpinCo and ParentCo
  • Master's degree in business administration, engineering or logistics and supply chain management from an accredited institution
  • A CI Certification (BB, MBB) and/or Project Management Professional Certification
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Strong program management and problem-solving skills, and collaboration across teams, functions, and organization
  • Experience with global industry standards such as ISO and quality tools
