Patient Care Coordinator

• Schedules appointments and manages calendar coordination for both dentists and hygienists. 
• Facilitates new patient onboarding and explains office policies.
• Confirms upcoming visits and follow-ups on treatment plans.
• Communicates clearly with patients regarding treatment timelines.
• Greets patients, collects and verifies forms and IDs.
• Submits timecard information.
• Ensures accurate data entry and update of patient records.
• Facilitates smooth patient flow between front and back office.
• Verifies patient eligibility with HR/benefits prior to treatment.
• Prepares and presents treatment plans and treatment consent with patients.
• Coordinates clinical case submissions and proactively follow up with labs and providers to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinates with third-party services as needed.
• Manages patient communications via phone, email, or messaging platforms.
• Maintains front office cleanliness and supply inventory.
• Supports marketing efforts, referral coordination.
• Adheres to OSHA compliant uniform attire and basic personal hygiene standards per Company policy.
• Scans patient documents to electronic dental record as required.
• Insures the proper disposal of all contaminated or potentially infectious materials in accordance with Company policy as well as state and federal regulation(s).
• Performs all functions in full compliance with Company exposure control plan including but not limited to the use of Personal Protective Equipment and Universal Precautions.
• Responsible for personal compliance in full with all applicable federal, state, local and Company rules, regulations, protocols and procedures, including but not limited to, the participation of a Dental Assistant in the provision of general dental care.
• Assists with education programs as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one (1) year of customer service experience.

Pay Range: $17.40-$23.00/hr
