What You’ll Work On
- Lead the solution design, development, and maintenance of complex full-stack web and mobile applications
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using React Native and other technologies, such as Node.js, GraphQL, etc.
- Mentor and guide junior team members in best practices and coding standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, design, and implement new features
- Write both unit and integration tests and develop automation tools for daily tasks
- Challenge ideas and opinions to avoid pitfalls and inefficient solutions
- Debug and troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize performance
- Ensure the applications are secure, scalable, and accessible
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends in web and mobile development
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 8+ years of experience with broad exposure to software engineering in various roles.
- 4+ years of specific experience in cross-platform mobile technologies such as React Native.
- Expertise building scalable services using Node.js and Typescript.
- Expertise with native build tools, such as XCode, Gradle, etc.
- Deep understanding of REST and GraphQL API frameworks.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest, Enzyme, Appium, etc.
- Strong experience with DevOps, including Git, Jenkins or other CICD tools.
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus
- Exposure to public cloud technologies such as Azure or AWS.
- Prior experience leading teams and managing projects are highly desirable.
