About the Role
We are looking for a creative strategist with performance paid social experience to join a fast-paced mobile app client team. Our world is all about conversions, downloads, and purchases so you need to be comfortable with digital acquisition channels, such as Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn. The ideal candidate is able to successfully lead client relationships, work collaboratively with a production/design team, and lead ad ideation. You should be well versed in UGC production, best practices, and how to use that performance lever. This role will report directly to the Director of Creative Strategy.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Strategist, you’ll brief in ad concepts that are informed by performance, cultural trends, and consumer behavior. You will lead the creative conversation with clients, aiming to improve performance through testing, iteration, and ideation. We are looking for someone confident, creative, and organized. - Weekly and Monthly Creative Performance reporting via Slides, Sheets, and Ads Manager data.
- Briefing new concepts to internal and external stakeholders.
- Be an expert on creative testing and media best practices.
- Conduct cultural, consumer research.
- Lead brainstorming sessions for concepts.
- Work collaboratively with designers, producers, and media team members.
- Engage with designers to build ads that engage and persuade, providing creative feedback as needed in a constructive way.
About You
The essentials:
- 3-5+ years of experience working in a client-facing strategic role at a performance marketing agency
- Experience with mobile app advertising or sportsbetting is a plus
- Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn experience is a must; YouTube, CTV, Pinterest, UAC, AppsFlyer and Snapchat experience is a plus
- Passion for creative and design trends in media
- Copywriting experience or strong writing skills
- Attuned to different ways to test creative beyond A/B (and best practices on digital channels)
- Facebook Business Manager and Google Ads fluency (in order to pull data)
- You are a confident presenter, even when presenting to C-Suite and executive audiences
- Not afraid to get in the weeds, but still able to see the trees, forest, and ecosystem
- 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience
- Hands-on-keyboard experience is a nice plus but not necessary
