Corning Incorporated seeks Manager, Sustainability & Climate Initiatives Communications to work in Corning, NY. Lead development & execution of comprehensive marketing & communications strategy to convey & advance sustainability initiatives; oversee internal & external communications programs to achieve company sustainability goals, objectives, & messaging; work w/ VP of Sustainability, business leaders, & subject matter experts to drive & deliver annual sustainability report; identify marketing channels to promote annual report key findings, stories, & highlights. Requires Bachelor’s in communications, marketing, journalism, or business-related field. 4 yrs. marketing & communications exp. focused on developing campaigns & messaging for: non-financial reporting, brand reputation, corporate responsibility, environment/social/governance (ESG), enterprise risk, or sustainability. 2 yrs. exp.: creating marketing materials for a global organization; writing communications content for senior management or executives. 1 yr. exp. using corporate sustainability standards (i.e. GRI, SASB, TCFD) to develop sustainability reports.
