What You Will Do…

In this role, you’ll manage all aspects of public and private heavy civil construction projects of various sizes, including but not limited to utilities (wet), excavation & dirt work, and asphalt paving. You will prepare estimates and bid packages and manage each project through to completion, serving as the primary point of contact to communicate project costs, staffing, scheduling, and updates with contractors. You’ll see the impacts of your work each day in every construction project you complete – from driveways to highways and parking lots to airports, you’ll play an integral part as we stand together to reinvent the way our world is built.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience managing heavy civil construction projects, be familiar with the field's concepts, practices, and procedures, and will possess enthusiasm to influence, and lead.
Location: This is an in-person position based out of Helena, MT.

What You Can Do…
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
To excel in this role you should have (Minium Required Qualifications):
- 5 – 7 years previous experience in heavy civil project management, project coordination, field management, and/or bidding, estimating; Construction Management or Civil Engineering degree may substitute for experience.
- Thorough knowledge of heavy civil construction through a combination of field and office experience including but not limited to utilities (wet), excavation & dirt work, asphalt paving.
- The ability to effectively organize, coordinate, and manage multiple projects at a time from start to finish, and provide effective communication to key parties at all stages.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills when interacting with both internal and external customers.
- A commitment to safety, performance, and adherence to OSHA, MSHA, DOT, and all other company or state rules and regulations.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Proficient with Windows based programs and estimating software
- The ability to work independently without direct supervision, a willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed, and travel as needed outside of home office area to project locations
- A valid driver’s license, the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, and current US Authorization to work, or the ability to obtain prior to start without company assistance.
