What You’ll Do

 

Job Summary: 

This role contributes advanced analytical expertise to solve a wide range of business challenges across the organization. This role independently conducts data exploration, modeling, and visualization to uncover insights, improve decision-making, and enhance the efficiency of data processes. This position works on moderately complex assignments, selecting the appropriate methods and tools while balancing technical rigor with business practicality. 

 

Essential Functions:

  • Translates business questions into analytical approaches, determining the data, methods, and tools needed to generate meaningful insights. 
  • Performs data acquisition, preparation, cleansing, and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of analytics outputs. 
  • Conducts exploratory analyses, statistical evaluations, and data modeling to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities. 
  • Builds and maintains dashboards, reports, and visualizations that clearly communicate findings to diverse stakeholders. 
  • Recommends improvements to data processes, contributing to increased automation, efficiency, and data quality. 
  • Supports larger Data Science or advanced analytics initiatives by preparing datasets, running initial analyses, or developing foundational models. 
  • Interprets and presents analytical results, highlighting impacts, drivers, and actionable recommendations. 
  • Collaborates with cross-functional partners to refine requirements, validate assumptions, and ensure solutions meet business needs. 
  • Applies sound judgment to manage priorities, working through technical or analytical issues with minimal direction

What You’ll Need

Education & Experience:  

  • Required Education: Bachelor's degree in field relevant to role (or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree) 
  • Required Experience: 4 – 6 years of relevant experience 

 

Qualifications & Skills:  

  • Proficiency in analytical tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and familiarity with data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). 
  • Strong understanding of statistical concepts, data modeling techniques, and data quality best practices. 
  • Ability to independently structure analysis, evaluate approaches, and deliver accurate results within defined timelines. 
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to translate technical findings into clear, actionable insights for non‑technical audiences. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work with moderate complexity and adapt analytical methods to new or unfamiliar problems.
